Teacher Maxwell joined us January 2021, but grew up in preschool as Ms. Heidi's oldest child- He has a BA in International Studies & History-
Maxwell took his first teaching job after high school in a school in Cambodia.
Maxwell enjoys reading, practicing Spanish, playing with his cat Ginger, and traveling with his long time sweetheart Kaia.
Maxwell is infant/toddler provider qualified, and has a Step 7 on the Oregon registry.
*Update: Teacher Max started a new journey at Lewis & Clark School of Law, August 2023, he will be working W, Th, F afternoons at Whimsy.
Ms. Sage joined out team in 2019. She is a native Portlander, a big sister to a bother and sister, and an avid sewist. She has baked and cooked professionally Portland restaurants, and dazzles folks who get to taste her baking at home. She enjoys creating with all kinds of medium, going to the movies, and thrift shopping. Ms Sage facilitates PLAY M-F. She is infant toddler certified, and she is the sub director, when Heidi is off site.
Ms. Julie joined our team June 2023
She is an avid crafter, cat foster/rescue hero, and mother and grandmother.
When she is not playing with the children at Whimsy and Wonder, she is caring for her seven kitties and sewing cool bags and other creations. Ms Julie works Tuesday-Friday afternoons.
