ENROLLMENT PROCESS

1. Browse through our website.  Take the time to read about our philosophy and play-based approach. Decide if our program might be a good for your family's values and beliefs.

2. Email - info@whimsyandwonderpdx.com  to schedule a tour,  or call 503-348-7981 if your prefer.

Please note: in order to keep our focus on the children and ensure a safe environment, we schedule initial tours only after hours. During the tour we'll answer any questions you may have, share our environment and approach to guidance, and give you an opportunity see if you feel at home-  There's no substitute for gut instinct!

3. If you decide that our program is a good fit for your child and family, we ask that you submit an application for enrollment.

4. If we are able to offer your child enrollment in our program, we then ask you to complete and submit enrollment forms, payment of the one-time $500 enrollment fee, and first month's tuition in order to hold their spot.

Toddlers 16m - 23m

5 days $1850

4 days $1650

Enrollment fee $500 (This is a one time non refundable fee, there are no annual charges, material fees, application fees)

We enroll children between the ages of 16 months and 5 years of age, we make a huge effort to balance the ages of the children, so each age group as peers in our mixed age classroom. 

We do not require that children be toilet trained.

Tuition includes vegetarian breakfast, lunch, and afternoon snack- we participate in the USDA food program.  There is no discount for holidays, school closures, vacations days, or other absences.

We are open from 7:30 am to 5:30 pm Monday through Friday.

Whimsy and Wonder Preschool LLC is a year round  program, we do not offer a summer off option, we do not offer a reduced schedule for summer. 

Our program closes for posted holidays, school vacations, and professional development days for our staff

( tuition is not discounted, or prorated for holidays, closures, weather closures, power outages, or Covid related closures.) 

We follow Portland Public School's inclement weather closures.
